The QCFC Women’s Premier Soccer League team will also be practicing and will be on hand to meet with fans as well.

Blau Weiss FC is currently second in their division standings and is trying to gain promotion to the next higher level in the German soccer system.

This is an unprecedented event as is believed to be the first time the Quad Cities has hosted an international soccer match at this level.

The QCFC is proud to partner with the Bier Stube (with locations in Moline, Ill. and Le Claire, Iowa) for this historic event and the 2013 men’s and women’s seasons. The Bier Stube will provide brats, frankfurters and specialty sausages in addition to other concession items at all Eagles home games.

The Quad Cities Football Club is entering its third season in the National Premier Soccer League and Women’s Premier Soccer Leagues The QCFC is unique in that it is one of the few NPSL/WPSL clubs to feature both men’s and women’s teams. The QCFC evolved from a local men’s amateur team competing around the Quad Cities area over the past six years. Having won the spring 2010 Championship in the Muscatine-based Latin American Soccer League, the team took a big step forward by joining the NPSL in 2011, and continues to build on that successful start.

Our teams are comprised of experienced players including many from the Quad Cities and others who attended local Colleges or Universities. Our goal is to create a strong foundation for the future of soccer in the Quad Cities, provide a quality sports entertainment experience and provide an opportunity for passage to higher quality soccer for local talent.
