The Quad City Eagles have been seeded to play Fort Pitt Regiment, the Great Lakes East Conference Champions, in the semi-final round of the NPSL Midwest Regional Playoffs.
Fort Pitt enjoyed a tough season which saw them win the Great Lakes East Conference by only one point and finish with a record of 6 wins, 5 losses and 3 draws. Fort Pitt finished the season with an average of 1.50 points per game.
Quad City dominated the Midwest Central Conference winning 7 games, drawing 2 and only losing 1 on their way to their second conference crown in two seasons. The Eagles finished the season with an average of 2.30 points per game, the best record in the Midwest region.
The Eagles look to take their strong regular season form into the regional tournament as they strive to secure a national title for the first time in the teams history.
The semi-final game will be played in Lansing, Michigan, on Saturday July 19th at 4 p.m. (CT), with the winner advancing to the final on Sunday July 20th at 5 p.m. (CT).
The winner of that game will then go on to the national tournament which dates and times are to be announced after the conclusion of regional play.
